Show Me the Love

Can someone show me where the love is in Harris County? WE have ninety days till Election Day. On October 18, just seventy-six days away early voting starts in Harris County. Can we please get a grip people? The Left is going to roll over us like a freight train from HELL. While we are fighting about who said this or who did that, the left is flying “carpetbaggers” in from all over the country. They are registering voters at an alarming rate. They are signing people up to work the polls election day. The left has a saying “It’s not important who votes, what is important is who counts the votes.” We sent hundreds of people to Washington D.C. in September last year, but we can’t get enough to fill paid positions on Election Day? I know you have to work, pay your taxes, etc. But if you got a call from Megan Kelly “hey you want to hang out Nov 2?” could you figure a way to get off work?
Think voter fraud is not happening in Harris County? Talk to some of the people who worked the polls in Nov. ‘08. One guy told me how he was working the ‘08 election and everyone was so nice and kept bringing him coffee. When he came back from the restroom a few minutes later, dozens of people had “VOTED.” Nearly one third of all votes placed that day were cast while he was in the bathroom. Yeah right. We need voter vigilance.
We have people who say they aren’t voting for ___ or ____ because back in 02 or 1959 or 1907 ____ or____ happened. Who cares? There is no such thing as a perfect candidate/elected official. Have you not done something stupid in the last ten years? If my wife were to vote me out each time I did something stupid, well, I would be “out of office” at least once a month. We have a ballot and it is what it is. Back in 2008 a lot of folks believed we could let the left have control and then we would come back and save the day. How’s that working for us? Another few years and there won’t be anything left to save. You can vote for whomever you want. Just don’t get “tired” and not vote all the way to the bottom of the ballot. Getting good Federal Congressmen, state Reps and Judges in office is the most important thing we can do this election. Me, I’m going to hit the STRAIGHT R BUTTON,-- because I believe a weak Republican is better than a strong Liberal-- and be very confident in casting my vote, knowing I have vetted as many candidates as possible in the time allotted.
So it looks like show me the love is just crazy talk. Can I see a showing of hands in favor of a “TRUCE” then? November 3rd we can go back to beating each other. I will furnish free sticks and post pictures of the winners on my Facebook page.
